Livorno, traditional food and wine at the Covered Market and a visit to the churches of the via della Madonna

An imposing 19th century building, the covered market brings together Livorno’s gastronomic traditions and cultures from around the world. Inside, in an impressive setting of colours, aromas and tastes, you can find authentic products of Livorno’s food and wine heritage.
The itinerary, with a guide, includes a walk in the historic city along the via della Madonna, a street of ancient international churches, including visits of the interiors.
Arriving in the market area, enjoy a guided visit to the covered market and a tasting of the traditional dishes of Livorno, Greece and Armenia.
In the afternoon the itinerary continues at the Greek cemetary.
